Stronger Together Support Meeting

Bellis hosts weekly online gatherings Thursday at 12 p.m. central time, exclusively for women who have experienced termination (or transfer) of parental rights. This is an opportunity to discuss grief, loss, and what it means to walk through life as a mother who isn't parenting. For privacy, facilitators will ask that participants join the online meetings from a private space. Thank you!

Thursdays are led by a licensed parent educator with two years of experience leading our groups. Special focus: This group is focused on grief AND skills/confidence building for mothers whose parental rights have been terminated in the past and now have interaction with children (such as a new baby, new relationships with their children after a separation, a partner's children, etc.)

Details:

  • Whether your case was finalized months ago or years ago, you are welcome to this free, safe & confidential conversation.

  • A host will facilitate discussions. But the heart of the program is women with shared experiences lifting each other in acceptance, compassion, and friendship. No shame. No judgment.

  • Use this form to learn more. You’ll receive an email each Monday morning with a link to join meetings.

Bellis is a neutral resource that builds community among those affected by adoption and foster care. It works independently from agencies and organizations involved with CPS, TPR, or child-placement. Learn more at mybellis.org.
