Be part of the first-ever Bellis™ Art Show!
Theme: A Home for My Story
As someone who entrusts your adoption or foster care connection with us, we invite you to be part of our celebration and submit your visual or written art. Share your original work of words (like poetry) or visual art, to share your journey—your lived experience with its turbulence, unexpected opportunities and life changes—with our community. First-time and long-time artists welcome. We extended the submission deadline: it is now noon on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.
Better yet, bring it on Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. and join us for our Volunteers Celebration and Evening of Adoption Connection!
Your art submissions will become part of a permanent exhibit in the Bellis office suite. Your experiences are powerful and valuable, and best convey all that Bellis strives to be and do. They will add beauty to the décor of our office, and more importantly, remind us all that Bellis is a place where your stories matters and are safe. We want this art show to honor your lived experiences as together we recognize 40 years of Bellis’ work.
Our May 2, 2023, Art Show Opening Reception will kick off celebration of Bellis’ 40th Anniversary in 2023. The show is non-juried, meaning it is not judged. Bellis does, however, reserve the right to exclude content that we believe is inappropriate for our audiences.
