Newcomers - Stronger Together - Support Group for Women

NEW!

Bellis hosts weekly online gatherings for Newcomers on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. central time, exclusively for women whose children are parented by others. This group is meant for women who have never participated in a Bellis support group before.

The Newcomers group is a space to get familiar with our community, connect with others in a similar situation, and begin finding support. We encourage new participants to attend up to six times before transitioning into our other ongoing weekly groups. For privacy, facilitators will ask that participants join the online meetings from a private space. Thank you!

Details:

  • Whether your experiences include termination of parental rights, transfer of custody, an open child protection case, or other situation, you are welcome to this free, safe, and confidential conversation.

  • A licensed, trauma-informed professional will facilitate discussions. The heart of the program is women with shared experiences lifting each other in acceptance, compassion, and friendship. No shame. No judgment.

  • Use this form to get more info about these meetings. After you submit the form, you’ll receive weekly emails with a link to the meeting.

Bellis is a Minnesota nonprofit leading national groundbreaking work offering grief support to mothers whose children are parented by others. Learn more at mybellis.org.
